About Keith Thomson:

When I was one year old, my mother, desperate to keep me occupied so that she could cook dinner, gave me crayons. She hoped I wouldn't eat them. She never again had any problem keeping me occupied. 

About “Strangers on a Subway – Oil Paint and Ink (32x24”):

This painting attempts to capture that late-night train ride when you're not sure whether it's more awkward to say something or say nothing. But still, you're glad you're not alone.
