Artist Keiko Tanabe
AWS, NWS, AIS, LPAPA
Born in Kyoto, Japan, Keiko is mostly self-taught. In 2005, she started her professional career as a master watercolor artist. Her paintings have been juried into exhibitions across America, Asia, and Europe, and gained world-wide recognitions. Her work has been purchased by private and corporate collectors from all around the world. She also had her paintings published in leading art magazines in the U.S., Europe, and Japan, and has published several books and four DVD’s. A sought-after workshop instructor since 2011, she has conducted hundreds of workshops and live demonstrations around the world. In 2018, she was appointed to the advisory board of the American Watercolor Weekly. She is a signature member of National Watercolor Society, American Watercolor Society, American Impressionist Society and Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, and has frequently served as a juror in art exhibitions on national and international levels.
