Bulls represent strength, spirituality, sacrifice, and fertility, they are kingly and wild, roaming the grasslands of our wildernesses. Painting the bull is wild for me, and brave. I love taking risks when painting bulls, adding layer upon layer of messages, symbols, color and shapes, and then containing all that in its form. We as humans are always trying to contain the wild, so I try to let go, but in the end I come back to control.
