Like most artists, I draw on my own life experiences. I have so many happy memories from my childhood spent at Coney Island. As a grown up I visited so many deserts and so many beaches. They can be breathtaking to look at and experience. Of course, as a glass artist, I always remember that my media of choice originates with sand. When the glass is put together in a kiln it flows like water.
