Soapstone Sculptures (22)

Created on: 22 Jul 2018
Stone is a stubborn medium. It will only do what it wants. Like wood, it has a grain and life of its own that becomes visible when the stone is polished with fine sand paper and water. These stones are from northern Canada. They are the same type used by Innuit artits.
