Painting Restoration and Conservation with
Lisa Capano

Lisa, a trained Painting Conservator with a degree in Painting Conservation from L’Istituto Per L’Arte ed il Restauro, in Florence, Italy, has painstakingly cleaned and restored art for many decades now, since she discovered how much she enjoyed the work. An artist herself, Lisa loves preserving what other artists have created that has been damaged by the years gone by. She has worked in both Italy and the U.S. and her extensive experience and knowledge in both modern and antique restoration techniques is invaluable. Lisa’s company Capano Fine Art Restoration & Conservation is located in Imperial Beach. For more information, please visit Lisa’s website: http://www.capanorestoration.com.
After the presentation, participants will be invited to share one of their artworks, either by using the “share screen” function or holding the work up to their computer screens.
