My work in the Midwest was in formal oil painting and woodcut printing. In 1979 I moved to San Diego with my husband, daughter, and four cats. Our son was born in San Diego in 1980. I was impressed by the freshness of nature around me and this inspired me to paint in transparent watercolor. Lately, I've expanded into collage and some acrylic in my paintings.
