Fine Art Festival VII

Since my lst comments about a future Fine Art Festival, much has changed. Becasue we are holding our Plein Air- A Charles Reiffel Tribute 2013 in conjunction with the scheduled Reiffel exhibition in The Musuem, the committee decided to postpone  doing a Fine Art Festival in 2013. Information about the Plein Air Reiffel tribute competition will be available soon on this site.

If you've read my previous blogs on this subject, you'll remember that we were having difficulty finding an affordable way to put on a festival. Instead we will be having FAFVII in 2015 for our 100th year anniversary. The plan then is to have100 booths in front of The Museum in the newly completed Plaza de Panama. This will be one of the many activities planned for the100th year anniversary of Balboa Park. Since it will be part of that celebration, we will be able to take advantage of the overall advertising that's scheduled for then. Planning hasn't begun on FAFVII in 2015 and when it does you can hear about it here.
