Pumpkin Vase

This vase was created with stoneware clay by using a slab technique. Various slabs are rolled out and cut into desired shapes needed to form a container (vase in this case). The vase is then assembled with all the necessary pieces. The initial form is made then textured designs are added before drying and firing. The inside is glazed and can hold water.
