Orchids

Strange Places...........

I am always on the lookout for exotic flowers as subjects for my paintings. This being California there is a plethora of public areas where you can see some really great botanicals.

I visit my Podiatrist about every six weeks, so he can keep my feet in shape. The Podiatrist shares the office with other Docs. One of the Docs is a Dermatologist.  She is an orchid aficionado; she has turned the bathroom into an orchid hothouse. On display were orchids of different varieties. How could I resist not taking a picture and creating a painting?
