MARKED BY DIGNITY

During the process of creating this piece, my intention was to convey times of injustice, cruelty, and unfairness represented by impatient brush strokes and texture. To me, "Marked By Dignity'' conveys instead, the positive transformation and makeover resulted by such incidents. I came to notice this encouraging outcome when using the metallic colors, the turquoise blue, and the red textured collage.
