La Jolla Surf

I never tire of the extraordinarily beautiful coastline right here in La Jolla.  In this watercolor scene, I was inspired by the breaking wave reflected in the water, the rocks peeking through the foam, and the marine layer of cloud on the horizon.  The limited palette of blue and brown perfectly captures the feel of a summer day in La Jolla.
