Hidden Lake

Hidden Lake is in Glacier National Park.  We hiked up the overlook trail starting behind the Logan Pass visitor's center. Along the way we saw goats and relatively little shade! It was worth the climb, for over the crest of the hill, the vista opening up below was quite inspiring!

Hidden Lake is a monotype, an original print that is unique, one-of-a-kind. This monotype actually required several runs through the press when the first pull was not quite satisfactory.  The overall impression lacked depth.  I added several glazes of white and pale blue over the more distant mountain slopes to create more atmospheric depth to the image.

Hidden Lake is avaialble unframed and shipped flat, matted with white rag mat board. The art measures 10" x 15" and the matted dimension is 17" x 21".
