I made this image of Mount Shasta in Northern California during a winter day when it was about to storm. Many people think if Mt. Shasta as a holy place and trek to the mountain to gain inspiration, to meditate, and to gain spiritual advancemen.
To give my photographs a quality akin to a fine oil painting, I like to print them on medium-weight artist quality mat canvas and ship them ready for stretching and framing. The inks used to make the print are light fast and permanent and should last for well over 100 years. I spray a protective coating over the canvas to ensure that the image will have a long lifetime.
